Little Max, Dear Santa...

This is Little Max writing his card to Santa. This is a drawing of EdithDesigns© (that is me!). I liked to use colors other than the typical Christmas red and green. I also liked making cards with pockets, which may handle tags or gift cards.
In this card I used:
Image of EdithDesigns©, Bazzill cardstock, miscellaneous printed paper, Caran D'Ache watercolors, metallic acrylic paints, glitter, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels one, Cuttlebug Textile Texture embossing folder, satin ribbon, golden metallic net ribbon, dew drops, silk golden thread, scissors and my sewing machine.

White Poinsettia

This is a drawing of EdithDesigns©. I made a card with a red Poinsettia before, but I painted a white one because I found this beautiful thin printed red organza and I thought it would make a beautiful contrast. The real White Poinsettia is also beautiful. The backgrounds are dark green and burgundy and I sew the organza over a pearl color metallic cardstock.

Card supplies:
Image of EdithDesigns©, Bazzill cardstock, printed organza, Spellbinders classic scallop circle, Caran D'Ache watercolors, white and golden acrylic metallic paints, All Night Media Clear Crystal, silver metallic thread, scissors and my sewing machine.

Today I drew no Max or Maxine...

I drew their kids and a friend, the Santa "Lazy" Cat...
I made this card with a sketch of EdithDesigns© (that is me!). It seemed nice to me to add to my little family' dog the four puppies and the cat, who brings them gifts. I printed the Image several times for a 3D effect. The Christmas tree has snow and a rhinestone star on the top. I also added a dry embossed background to which a applied the technique of sand paper to highlight the image.

In the inside I sew a pocket, dry embossed, and added a tag, which can be replace with a gift card.

Colors are not typical Christmas colors, but I think they combine very well.

In this card I used:
Image and sentiment from EdithDesigns©, bronze metallic cardstock, Bazzill cardstock, Bohemia Collection paper from My Mind's Eye, Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circle, Christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder, Caran D'Ache watercolors, acrylic metallic paints, organza ribbon, translucid dew drops, silk thread in bronze and golden colors and my sewing machine.

Here is Santa Max, again...!

I cannot leave him! LOL!!!

I made this card with a hand sketch called "Santa Max" of EdithDesigns© (that is me!). There is cardstock with glitter, ribbons and opaque dew drops. I love the combination of colors, burgundy, dark turquoise and the beautiful designer paper.

I like to decorate both sides of the inside of my cards, to give them a fine finish, strong and heavy. On the right side there is a blank space to write your own good wishes and on the left side I sew a pocket, decorated with the delicate touch of the beautiful EK Success paper punch (I love it!). A tag is included to be used for a sentiment, but the pocket also handle a gift card. I am sure it will make the recipient very happy!

There are several layers of cardstock, both on the outside and the inside, which I sew with silk burgundy thread on my sewing machine.

Card supplies:
Image and sentiment from EdithDesigns©, Bazzill cardstock, miscellaneous printer paper, Caran D'Ache watercolors, acrylic metallic paints, Tulip dimensional puffy paint, EK Success Paper Shapers Scallop Dotted, burgundy and golden ribbons, dew drops, burgundy silk thread, scissors, sewing machine.
