LILIUM ~ Say it with Flowers Collection

On the last weeks I have been working in my little collection of flowers that I have called "Say it with flowers". The first flower I will show you is: LILIUM. I think this is a beautiful and elegant flower that can be used for several occasions. I like to show my drawings with an example, so I made this card that can be for friendship and/or love. In the inside there is a tag with a beautiful poem (which unfortunately is not mine) where someone thanks somebody else for having been there when was needed. I printed the drawing several times for a 3D effect; I painted the flowers with watercolors and inks and put black glitter on anthers, so there is some sparkle in the center of each flower.

Card supplies:

Friendship...

Friendship…The theme of friendship is beautiful, special and I love it! It is not easy to find true friendship and when you find it… you have to take care of it. So I figured friendship between Rex the Bear and his friend, the little bird. Rex is helping his friend to move in a wheelbarrow full of spring flowers. I printed image several times for a 3D effect and the little bird has glitter effect.

Thank you!

This is a word that I love! A great way to say it is ... with flowers. This is a thank you card with a nice vase with red anemones. I printed the image three times, then I cut the flowers and glue them two and three times to give them a 3D effect. I painted each layer with watercolors and applied black glitter in the center of each one. The vase was dry embossed with ProvoCraft Swiss dots folder, painted with watercolors and finished with clear crystal.

Card supplies:
Hand drawn image from EdithDesigns, Bazzill cardstock, miscellaneous patterned paper, Caran D’Ache watercolors, ProvoCraft Swiss Dots embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Four and Labels One, All Night Media Clear Crystal, scissors, dew drops, satin ribbon, dark green silk thread and my sewing machine.

Roy Rabbit...

Just in time! I am pleased to introduce you Roy Rabbit, which can hardly sustain these huge, colorful and beautiful eggs (must be chocolate, of course!). Roy Rabbit is part of my latest drawings. I made the flowers and the leaves with different punch the papers and I added a "gem" in the center of each flower. The eggs have glitter and crystal effect. I used a gorgeous round paper punch but it did not show much effect with the background colors, so I added a pink cardboard that I cut out by hand along the edges. I think it looks much better with this contrast.

Card Supplies:
Image of EdithDesigns, Bazzill card stock, miscellaneous patterned paper, Caran d'Ache watercolors, Fiskars paper punch (round with hearts and other with flower border), different punch paper for flowers and leaves, glitter, All Night Media Clear Crystal, satin ribbon, crystal rhinestones, white color silk thread and my sewing machine.
