The Reading Fairy...

Today I will continue with my Fairies Collection. I want to show you the "Reading Fairy". I used the Mojo Monday sketch Challenge and I will also enter it in other Challenges. I drew a red-haired fairy (my favorite!) which is quietly reading a book in a garden. She has 3D effect and I painted her dress with a glossy pink color. The wings have white glossy paint and glitter on top. The square of the sketch, on the top of the card was made with a glossy cardstock, cream color. To highlight it I used the Script Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The sketch required a non printed paper on the bottom, so I chose to decorate it with Victoria Embossing Folder.

I like making my own flowers to decorate my cards. This time I used a flowers die from Provo Craft and worked with one of my embossing tools to give them some dimension. In the center I put a small bright little flower. I cut the leaves with the Home Accents cartridge, my Cricut and, of course, I added lots of stitches.

Card supplies:
Image of EdithDesigns©, Bazzill cardstock, DCWV The Garden Party Stack Cardstock, Glossy cream color cardstock, Caran D’Ache watercolors, DecoArt glossy paints, Provo Craft flowers die, embossing tools, Cuttlebug Script and Victoria Embossing Folders, Home Accents Cartridge, Cricut Create, strawberry color satin ribbon, brown flower rhinestones, off white silk thread and my sewing machine.
