The Fairy of the Fruit...

I love making cards for challenges. I appreciate very much every visit and comment I get, because I think the ladies of the Design Teams give us much time looking at the cards and writing comments:)

Having said that, I will show you my new card...

Today I made a card with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 148. I used one of my last drawings of my "Fairies Collection". I had in mind all the kids which do not like eating fruit. This is “The Fairy of the Fruit" which is telling us one of her secrets: the Fairies love fruit. I like 3D drawings on my cards, so I printed the image 2 times and cut out the fairy carefully. The background cardstock was dry embossed and highlighted with glitter. The designer papers also have glitter. I painted the drawing with watercolors little wings Shines with glitter and the fruit has a crystal finish. As embellishments, I also added to the Fairy’s hair 4 tiny rhinestones flowers.

The Fairy of Goodwill

Hi! Today I will show you, of my "Fairies Collection”, The Fairy of Goodwill. I like to think that the world would be a little better with a minimum of goodwill. I'm sure many of you agree with me. I guess Fairies can also spread this message:)

I made this card with a wonderful sketch of Fridays Sketch and I also include some details to make it good to enter it in other challenges. I printed the drawing 2 times and cut out by hand and carefully drawing that I used as second layer. I like to paint all layers of my drawings, because I believe that final result has a better look. One of the background layers was dry embossed and I highlighted it with a light coat of glossy acqua green color paint. I think it looks very nice. I used the same paint to the fairy dress. I painted the wings with glitter and the hearts coming out of her basket of flowers (and hearts) have a crystal clear finish.

Fairies Collection ~ Second Fairy...

Here I show you the second Fairy of my new Collection:

I decided to draw the collection with different faces and hair, to make them more interesting. This one is blond and has blue eyes. There is a lot of glitter on this card. I used beautiful glittered paper and I painted the wings of the fairy, the butterfly on the top and the little pink flowers with glitter paint. I made the big pink flowers using different punch papers. Now, I am thinking about the sentiment that I will add, because I'm sure that fairies should bring a positive message.

Fairies...

I recently started a new collection of drawings: Fairies. I love them! Here I show you the first fairy of my new collection.

When I was a little kid I read many fairy tales that made me dream. As time passed and I grew up, I forgot my fairies’ drawings until now. I am very glad to have rediscovered them because they have brought me great memories of times long gone.

There are rhinestones on her hair and I painted the wings with glitter. I also added some glitter "stars" on the sky:)
