Hi Friend!

Finally a new card! I used the sketch of a Mojo Monday Challenge, but on the way I discovered that there was room to show it in other challenges. I used my drawing Dee the Bee, Hi Friend! I printed it twice to make it in 3D. I painted each layer with watercolors and carefully cut out Dee and the flower. The wings have glitter and they look very delicate. I added a butterfly that I drew long ago. This time I painted it with Photoshop. I had not done it before and I found it very easy and the result is very nice. I printed it two times and glue the two images to give the bottom, although not shown, a more delicate finish.

Special RAK for Jayme...

Today there is no card for a Challenge. I made this card for Lisa's sister Jayme:

I knew about Jayme's situation in different blogs and I felt I should send her one of my cards, that I hope to bring her a smile. She likes frogs, so I use my Prince Toad 1.

There is a special event on Lisa's Blog, to bring love and cheers to her sister
. I hope my card can make her smile:)

Flowers, flowers....

Today I will show you a card I made with flowers, Pansies, from my “Say it with Flowers Collection”. There are Pansies in various colors, but my favorite is the most common and simple, the color that I painted. I think this card is for greetings, thinking of you, birthday, just because ... any occasion. I like that my cards have dimension, 3D effect, so I always copy the images at least 3 times, and cut out each image with much patience and my little scissors. To this card I cut out the complete five flowers and then cut out only three, so the card has different levels.

Max and his Best Friend Forever...

I drew this little Panda long ago. His name is Jimmy the Panda and I always thought that he was very cute. The first bear that my oldest son had was a little panda named Ling-Ling, so Panda has been a very important guest in my home. And Max ... well, Max is now part of the family LOL! He was one of my first drawings and by now he almost has its own life. For that reason he is always present and I can imagine him in many situations. That is why today I show you Max with his best friend forever. This is the first time I use lace on my cards. I have had three types of lace for a long time but I never found the occasion to use any of them.

Miss Cow, Just because...

It's very nice to receive a card on special occasions, but to receive it without a specific reason, is even better. Today I made this card with the happy and smiling Miss Cow, to be sent just because. I guess it will bring a smile to the person who will receive it. There are many layers of paper and cardboard. The cream colored card stock is metallic, but I think it is difficult to see it in the photo. I used the PollyCraft Challenge' sketch and tried to use it for other Challenges.

Fiesta!

It has been too many days since I wrote my last post... I have had very busy days, so I could spend a little time in my studio. There is too much to do before winter comes :)

Here are two cards to Cinco de Mayo celebration. As usual, I used drawings from EdithDesigns and for this special occasion, very colorful papers.

To “Max, Happy Cinco de Mayo” card, I designed a colorful pinata that moves! I painted the adornments of Max's hat with golden paint.

In the next card little Jo and Joe are celebrating the Fiesta. I added a garland that I made with small pieces of green and red holographic paper. Also the word "Fiesta" was made with the same holographic paper. Unfortunately it is not possible to see in this photo, but I painted the girl's skirt and the silver adornments of the boy's hat with sparkling paints. I put some "Margarita" flowers (Daisies) with golden centers as a "vegetal" embellishment.

That's all for today:) Hope to post my new card tomorrow!
